Expert in Public Relations and Politics

I know how to inform millions of people at a time. I know how move various publics to action -- readers, listeners and viewers -- consumers, donors and voters. If your objective is reasonable and your budget sufficient, I can probably help you persuade your audience to do it.

Just six months after getting my driver's license, I joined the 1976 U.S. Senate campaign of Congressman Jerry Litton. For six months, I was one of six people who manned the St. Louis office of the super-successful campaign operation. Litton died in a plane crash on the night of his primary victory.  Two years later, I was elected student body president at college, the same year I interned for Congressman Dick Gephardt in Washington, D.C. At age 19, I authored H.R. 4613, an education bill, which Gephardt sponsored in the 96th U.S. Congress.

By 1981, I had managed several political campaigns and was adding television work to my portfolio. In '84, I landed a job as account exec at a small PR firm in St. Louis. In early '85, I moved to  the PR division of BHN, a "Top-5" St. Louis ad agency at the time. And in late '85, I was appointed director of the PR division of the respected Hughes Advertising in St. Louis. In '86, I opened my own firm.

Since 1986, I have supervised accounts in a wide range of fields, including: national consumer brands, telecommunications, supermarkets, health care, banking, sports promotions, economic development, and book publishing. I have helped large corporations and small start-ups, political organizations and charities.

I am a skilled writer, and publicist. One national publicity program that I run for a client generates up to 150 million impressions per year. For local clients in St. Louis, many times, I have generated more than three million impressions per event; it's not [PHOTO: TV AT NOEDEL EVENT] unusual to see two, three or even four TV news vans at one of my press events. I have also gone into other local markets with media tours. In Philadelphia, for example, I garnered three millions impressions for a sporting event. I have conceived and executed successful press events for grand openings, new product roll-outs, sporting events, and client awards.

I am an experienced strategist. Brainstorming with my yeast client, I helped conceive of an effective counter-campaign to protein diet fads. While director at Hughes PR, I drew broad press attention to the opening of the Arch Parking Garage, dubbing it "the most important civic development next to the arch."

I run very successful special events. Whether for dozens, hundreds, or thousands of people, I have conceived, designed and executed some very impactful special events, including one set of functions which won my client an award from the National Grocers' Association.

I have produced large image and issue advertising campaigns, including major newspaper ad campaigns, radio ad campaigns, and TV ad campaigns.

With 32 years' experience in public relations campaigns and political campaigns, I know all aspects of PR, am accomplished both in strategy and tactics, and am a seasoned counselor. Trust me to accomplish your organization's PR mission.
