Experienced
Internet Producer
I built a commercial
website before there were websites. In 1992, programmer
Jeff Heaton
and I invented PrinterCom, an "electronic data interchange value
added network," or EDI-VAN (corporate websites didn't begin
popping-up in force until 1995). With PrinterCom, commercial printers and
their customers could bid on, and award, printing jobs through their
modems. In 1992, it was a very early stab at what later became known
as "e-commerce."

In 1995, I produced one of the early corporate websites in St. Louis
-- for telecom pioneer Brooks Fiber Communications.
This site was primitive by today's standards, but in 1995 it was
cutting-edge.
Starting in 1999, with my Fleischmann's Yeast client, I have
directed the creation of what some newspaper editors continue to
call "one of the best online newsrooms in the U.S. food business."
ACH Food Companies, Inc. acquired the Fleischmann's Yeast consumer
business in 2004, resulting in Argo Corn Starch and
Karo Corn Syrup
being added in 2005.
Check out the online newsroom.
I am also experienced in e-mail marketing, having produced scores of
successful e-mail campaigns since 2002.
Naming stuff is a specialty of mine. I am the creator of some
interesting software titles, network names and domain names,
including:
Printercom,
CompareWare,
PraisePoints.com,
DemocracyMotor.com,
ShowMeShowRoom.com,
ENEXENE.com and, coming soon, Berger, Missouri's new e-zine: "BergerWithCheese.com."

I invented the name "goodfibes"
for a 2004 Fleischmann's Yeast high-fiber bread recipe program, and
the client liked the name and logo so much they printed it on
millions of yeast packages for three years.

Today, I'm harnessing exciting emerging Internet technologies for my
clients. Everything is on the table: including search engine
optimization (SEO); Internet advertising; link-trading; newswire,
RSS 2.0 and ATOM 1.0 feeds; Wiki; Amazon and eBay; blogs; YouTube;
and social bookmarking networks.
With 16 years of experience in building digital networks and
websites, I am an Internet veteran who can help you exploit the
amazing, exploding Internet opportunities before you. |
