Artists and designers are encouraged to participate in the first Trashion Fashion Show. Designs for the show can be made from materials in the trashcan or recycling center, outdated clothing or even natural materials. All entries should be wearable at least once.

The New Haven-Berger Fire Protection District has placed into service a new brush truck. The 2010 Ford replaces a 1970 International purchased by the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department in 1974.
The truck will be assigned to House 3, which serves the Stony Hill area. The truck will serve as a brush fire apparatus as well as provide first response for medical emergencies.
